Bruneian Traveling to US
Holders of a Brunei Darussalam national passport that meet one of the following
criteria do not require a visa to enter the United States of America for tourism or
business travel of up to 90 days.

Issued after October 26, 2006 and include an integrated computer chip;
Issued between October 26, 2005 – October 25, 2006 which is machine
readable and include a digital photograph; or
Issued before October 26, 2005 and is machine readable.

Holders of a Brunei Darussalam regular passport which do not comply with the above
criteria, diplomatic and official passport holders are required to apply for a visa to enter
the United States.

Before you leave for your trip to the United States, it is important to know that the
United States Customs prohibits or restricts several items/goods to enter the United
States. Restricted items are those that require special licenses or permits from a
federal agency in the U.S before the item is allowed to enter. Some examples are
firearms and certain fruits, vegetables, pets and textiles.
